The Wüsthof Santoku from the Performer series has the typical Japanese blade shape and is versatile. It is also ideal for the finest cutting work in the kitchen. The 17 cm long blade has a hollow edge that prevents thin and soft slices from sticking to the blade. 

The blade is made from one piece of chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel and has a DLC coating. This is a diamond-like carbon that is quite strong. The blade not only looks fantastic, but is also protected against high temperatures, acids and scratches. The knife handle fits particularly well in the hand. 

We recommend rinsing and drying the Wüsthof knife from the Performer series immediately after use. Never clean in the dishwasher or leave in water for a long time.
